Hanifaru Bay ตั้งอยู่ในเขต Baa Atoll ของ #มัลดีฟส์ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่ได้รับการคุ้มครองจาก #UNESCO และเป็นจุดยอดนิยมสำหรับการชม #แมนต้าเรย์ หรืออีกชื่อ #กระเบนราหู (Manta Ray) และ #ฉลามวาฬ (Whale Shark)โดยเฉพาะใน ช่วงเดือนพฤษภาคม ถึงพฤศจิกายน เป็นช่วงฤดูกาลที่แพลงก์ตอนมีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ในช่วงนี้ แมนต้า เรย์ จะมารวมตัวกันเพื่อกินแพลงก์ตอนในปริมาณมาก ช่วงนี้ทะเลจะสงบมากขึ้น Hanifaru Bay ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นสถานที่ที่น่าสนใจสำหรับการชมแมนต้าเรย์ และฉลามวาฬเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้และการอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติที่สำคัญ ทำให้เป็นจุดหมายที่ต้องไปเยือนสำหรับผู้ที่รักทะเลและธรรมชาติในมัลดีฟส์!

ช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสำหรับการดำน้ำกับ แมนต้าเรย์ ที่ Hanifaru Bay สามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 3 ช่วงหลัก ๆ ดังนี้ครับ :
1.ต้นฤดู (ตั้งแต่ พฤษภาคม - กรกฎาคม)
- ในช่วงนี้ แมนต้าเรย์จะเริ่มมาปรากฏตัวในอ่าว Hanifaru เนื่องจากมีแพลงก์ตอนเริ่มเพิ่มขึ้น แต่จำนวนอาจจะยังไม่มากเท่าช่วงพีค อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีโอกาสได้เจอแมนต้าเรย์หลายตัวในช่วงนี้
- ช่วงนี้ถือว่าเป็นช่วงที่ดีที่สุดสำหรับการดำน้ำกับแมนต้าเรย์ใน Hanifaru Bay เนื่องจากเป็นช่วงที่แพลงก์ตอนอยู่ในระดับสูงสุด ทำให้มีแมนต้าเรย์และฉลามวาฬจำนวนมากมารวมตัวกัน บางครั้งอาจเห็นแมนต้าเรย์มากกว่า 100 ตัวเลยทีเดียว!
3.ปลายฤดู (ช่วง พฤศจิกายน)
- แม้ว่าปลายฤดูจะยังคงมีแมนต้าเรย์อยู่ แต่จำนวนจะเริ่มลดลงเมื่อเข้าใกล้สิ้นสุดฤดูฝน ทว่าก็ยังมีโอกาสเจอได้ในจำนวนที่น้อยลงเมื่อเทียบกับช่วงพีค
